Are they really worth the price? For me the new released will cost me 89 dollars to get it to Turkey. Dont we have the same contents on the tutorial forum?

Practically yes, the content is the same, but the speed with which you are learing ZB is much faster with DVDs than without them.
Also you do not need to buy every ZB DVD but just one general one, and than build on this by yourself. It also depends on what kind of learner you are - do you need to see it to understand or you learn better when reading.
What ever choice you make, it is worse of it.

I wouldn’t try to learn Zbrush without Introduction to ZBrush. The Zscripts are a huge help but Gnomons Introduction to Zbrush gives you a solid working knowledge of the software. I found the Practical guide difficult to follow because they skipped steps. I will warn you it’s a ROM and won’t run on a DVD player. You’ll have to run them on a PC. Well worth the money. I ordered the full set but I haven’t had a chance to even get through half the collection. They all seem excellent but make sure you get the Introduction one. You can get by without them but they really are a massive help. I had some formatting complaints, I can’t run them on my notebook because of it, but the content is excellent.
Do check out all the new quick starts. They look good. There are some good Zscripts floating around as well. Obviosuly the Zscripts in the Help are the place to start. Even after I had a working knowledge of the software they helped fill in blanks.
The DVDs can also be a great place to pick up tricks that the artists has figured out. Some of it can take a lot of months to figure out on your own.

Look for the Kurv studios dvd… it covers the basic tools and, an entire bust sculpt…
