Glork from outher space and my 3 year old daughter

Hi!Before christmas I improvized a simple mocap suite for my three year old. The goal was to test recording of a little person with dense markers.I optimized the volume and got suprized how good the data turned out. Eaven when she sat, I had good recordings.

I transfered her motion to Glork, who also is about three years old, only in lightyears.I did not spend much time on retargeting, and it shows at certain points.The test turned out so sucessfull, that I created this little film.

My three year old loved to see the 3D modell mimick her in realtime, and would not stop the recordings.

I used Dynamesh and then retopologized.

Tools: Arena from optitrack, Maya, zbrush, PS and After effects.

what type of cameras are you using and how many does a system like this require?

Blackmath: Thank you! It’s a system from Optitrack. I’m tracking with 18 v100R2 cam, with 100 fps.
