Long time since i posted here, this was just something i did over the last week as a exercise to try to get some clothing done, i got a little carried away but it was a nice distraction. the outfit was based on some random fashion photo. all modeled in zbrush as always.

Hey your cloth is looking sweet. Iām compelled though to mention the great job you did on sculpting the hands. Very expressive. My eyes were immediately drawn to them. Oh well back to anatomy studies for me.

hey space really nice subtlety in the forms and structure , the cloth work is great along with the dynamic feel you have going on in the folds very life like, great to see you posting here againā¦lets just hope zbrush 4 comes out before the end of the yearā¦

@taalart, thanks i liked doing them even though it was difficult to pose them, thank pix for zsphere rigging, it did half the work.
@Intervain, Lol, i know i thought she was anorexic too, like i said i used a fashion photo for reference and you know how skinny those girls are. iāve been getting into a more nostalgic mood lately and have some more pieces in mind like this.

@anigroove, the umbrella is really just zprimitives edgelooped, i only made one arm and then just clone/appened and rotated it until i had 8, the cloth was made from the Circle3d, hereās a quick gif:

@troy, thanks troy the cloth was the whole reason for doing this, i need the practice, i hope it comes out this month! hereās the mustang, not much different yet, iām trying to figure out how to proceed, and fixing some proportional and angle issues, it was good to take a break and do this piece because i see stuff i missed before.

@ruben, i think i understand what you mean about the lighting, considering i didnāt actually make this a real scene and sheās on a model base i decided to do it this way instead of going all out, i like the play between the two ideas and iām okay with it this way, its more of a impression of lighting and rain. did you mean more gloomy lighting btw?
I like the girl with the umbrella. It has a nice mood to it. She has kind of an Avril Lavigne thing going on with the eye liner. I do agree with Intervain. Her legs are a bit too thin. Overall, very nice, though.
thanks webhead, i can sort of see that, but avril is super cute, whereas this girl is sort of ugly, and i agree about the legs but as i said thats what the model looked like.

The girl is also looking ver nice allthough as stated a little bit on the tin side pantswise whereas the face is looking pretty normal weight.
haha that car is taking a long time but its not the modeling thatās causing me issues, iāve never modeled a car before, and iām basing this on the car from ābullittā, its really hard to tell with all the mustang reference pictures that i have (300+) what exactly is going on half the time so thats slowing me down, if i had one in front of me it would be easier, so someone please donate a 68 mustang to me, lol.

sigh, yes i know about the legs and her being thin and her face being heavy, all these things are possible, actually bulimea will cause this face bloat sometimes and it wouldnāt surprise me if a model was doing that. also browse /s/ on 4chan and youāll see every body type out there, i always seem to get grief for not making women some certain way, i was basing it on a photo, actually i made her legs a bit more chunky then they actually were, go figure. if i had the girls contact info iād give it to you all and you could send her a sandwich. haha.
i should say though that by doing this piece i donāt condone anorexia or bulimia, iāve had first hand dealings with people (was married to one) with those illnesses and its not pretty, nor is any mental illness.
