Hey now, its been a really long time since I’ve posted any work here. As a way to relax after work I’ve been sculpting the original alien that Giger designed. I’m trying to go for movie accuracy, which is quite fun and challenging. Here’s my work in progress, I’ve only just begun the legs so I’m not bothering to show screens of that area yet.

hey thats really good so far, i have the old kenner 19" myself. the only strange thing to me is that tube you have coming off the jaw ending in the back, i don’t seem to remember that in the movie being so free floating like that.
Its there but it tighter to the form and terminates in the base of the neck this is a pic from the Sideshow Aliens model I worked on at Stan Winston Studios. It’s a little different. There is a great shot in the Giger’s Alien book.
