I’m planning to buy that windows 64-bit edition.
What do you mean that it is not recommended? It doesn’t work or it works slowly at the moment?
Is there coming any updates that will support this 64 bit environment better, and when is that going to happen? About?

Out flat does not work on my 64 bit version of Windows XP. Now on Pixelogic’s website they are saying contact support for people with 64 bit versions of windows. I heard one guy was having to partition his hard drive and install 32 bit windows on it so he could run ZBrush. So you might have to have 2 versions of windows in order to use ZBrush. A 32 bit version to go along with the 64 bit version. I would contact pixelogic’s support.
Me I am just continuing to run it on my old computer. It does not nearly have the same amount of ram or power but I am just hoping they will go 64 bit for the ZBrush 2.5 and that is the delay for its release.

:(. I’m not going to uninstall windows 64 and it’s sad that I can’t use zbrush. Thanks god I had only trail version. It’s good I tried it on x64 before buing.
how about video card requirement? do any video card will suffice? including built in?

yet, I go to products and you can’t buy a 3.1 version for the mac, whats up with this misleading information?
I read the touted solution is use win3.1 under Vmware, but I’m not interested in that. I am very interested in a mac intel native version. It seems like it is dead in the water though. I hope not.
