I’m not sure this is the proper forum so please feel free to move it. Gary Gygax passed away today. His vision and inspiration will be missed. You will always be in our memories gentle fellow.
I was also quite sad to learn of this… my parents were among the first to play D&D (my dad went fishing with Dave Arneson)… as an infant, I sat in their laps and rolled dice for them… roleplaying is still my favorite hobby today
the guy sure left his mark on the world, and I’m somewhere right in the middle of it… many thanks to him

My first D&D experience came out of the original box. 3 little notebooks, 4 dice, a sharpened pencil and a mini pad of paper. No telling how much the set would be worth today! The set it gone, Gygax is gone…memories are still here. I was even able to go visit the Dungeon Hobby Shop in Lake Geneva Wis.
