Game Intentions: How would I go around this (smart object related)

Hee guys,

So I have created characters. I have created armor pieces.
How would I go around the following obstacle.

What I would like to do/see:

  • create 1 piece of armor linked to specific mark points on a character.
    So for example i have just finished a pair of boots and I want them to fit and crop on its own to adapt to the wearer,
    For every different character wearing them. Like can I create a one-time blueprint for character A and B

Lets say character A has size 10 and i have created the first pair of boots fit to character A
Now instead of remodelling the entire boot, thus getting duplicate pairs but different sized yet still the same boot.
How would I go around having it fit to character B with size 12?

Can I create a blueprint of some sort for every different character which allows me to ‘equip’ the same clothing piece on a different model and auto scale/adjust it the way I set it up in the ‘blueprint’.

think off a tauren and human, 1 has feet, the other has hooves, yet they can both equip those boots.
I want to setup some kind of blueprint which automatically equips it in a different way.

edit: not just different foot sizes, think of;

  • shoulder width
  • bi/tricep width
    etc etc.

ANY hints or tips or other ways to achieve the same as my intentions are.

thanks in advance!
