From DynaMesh to final product?

Hey guys!

I’m in need of some help here. I made this Hoverbike. The main body is sculpted and detailed using Dynamesh. I don’t know where to go from here since ZRemesher completely destroys the mesh. I’d like to have a low and high res mesh to be able to bake it in Substance Painter but I am stuck. My technical knowledge is limited so I would appreciate any help/advice. What do you mean when you say that ZRemesher destroys the mesh?

It should be able to create really nice topology. Don’t forget that you can clone the model and then after you have used ZRemesher on one copy you can subdivide as necessary and Project All to get the detail from the original model.

If ZRemesher is having difficulty with parts of the model, why not split them off to different SubTools? You can then ZRemesh each SubTool separately before merging everything back together again.

For good result of ZRemesher use Polygroup to guide the mesh with keep group option turn on before ZRemesher
combine with ZRemesherGuide give even better result.
