Fringii uses his tail to attract Fireflies, which are his main source of protein. His 6 legs allows him to move very fast. Though even if he is a really good hunter. He is completely harmless to other creatures living in his natural habitat.

Even though it sounds like a good idea and the final result looks nice (I hope), having a 6 legged lizard wasn’t such a great Idea as I spent so much time working them. This time I found the colors pretty easily. And I had a lot of fun painting the diffuse color. Though the lighting took me forever. Finding a right balance with that many colors is no easy job. But really happy with the final result.
All done in Zbrush using Flipped normal and Texturing XYZ maps.

I am always trying to bring some story telling and play with the environment and lighting when doing a creature. Gives so much more personnality I find!
