Hi. I will create this single thread and will be updating it with latest textures that I shoot every weekend. Besides textures, I shoot reference photos of various things that might be interesting to CG community.
All textures are organized and tagged, so besides browsing them in categories, you might want to use advanced search features located on top of the page.
Original thread was in the news section, but I still create this one, as the news section does not bump threads, so there will be no way for you to see the updates.
Right now there are about 700 photos on the site. Most of them are cropped and cleaned from the lens distortion. So they are ready to be used in your every day texture work. Of course, they’re also FREE.
Note, there is a VOTE section on the site, after you register that will let you choose the topic for the next photo shoot that I do on weekends. New batch of textures is placed on site during weekdays (usually Monday through Thursday).
I much hope that you will like this site, and live some suggestions and good words here, or through contact page on the site.
Also, you might notice that to download a full size texture you must be a registered user. I give my word, not sending any spam messages or selling email to anyone. This is purely done, so that people won’t download the whole site at once, create mirrors or do anything else that will go against TERMS OF USE. I hope you will understand this. I also tried to do registration as fast and as easy as possible, without jeopardizing the resource. I have also left enough daily download quota to make the site very much usable and easy to use for daily work.
