Free lowpoly model survey, anyone interested ? :)

Hiya!

I’m offering to give away my testmodels which i make with Silo to kickstart my inspiration, most of the time it’s head of various types and sorts. Charicatures and creatures and other things like that. If anyone of you Zbrushers want any then leave a msg to me in this thread so i know if there are interest. Then i’ll post them as .obj for you people to download. Only thing i ask if you use them to credit me for the modeling the base mesh. I’ll post a few example screenshots of my modeling style and what my tests look like so you know more what you have to expect. I’d give models like these away as i just don’t have time yet to Zbrush them all myself, maybe someone else can do something cool from these or it’s a good way for newbies to get started with, i don’t know…

Alright i guess not  then i want a moderator to delete this thread since no one wanted free models by me.
Thanks anyways for viewing my post

Max, at least let me be one to thank you for your offer.

I will speak solely for myself when I say that your work is extremely impressive. I have seen many of your treads and they always make me wish I had your talent. Having said that, it’s because I want to develop a talent such as yours that I pass on using someone else’s work. I think many of us are trying to go through the trials and tribulations of learning by our own failures. I for one truly do appreciate this offer though.

Personally, what I look for in this forum is more the way you did your work, rather than the outcome, if that makes sense.

Please don’t think because there were no takers that there wasn’t huge temptation. Keep giving us things to shoot for like so many of the artists here have done for me.

Thank you.

Word.

pay attntion : n gons are not good for ZB models

Wordsmith: Thanks for your very kind comments, and i appreciate them alot  but i have to say i’m surprised you consider these 3d doodles of mine as impressive heh, i never seen them as such myself. However i do think you’re a skilled modeler and Zbrusher yourself, the thing is you just don’t know it yet.
I thought about the fact that people prefer to model their own stuff, doh stupid me hehe. But that thought came to me after i hit the ok button and the post was set here. O well… heh.
Thanks again for your comments

Nemoid: Attention isn’t necessary if you know that Zbrush converts those polygons to normal usable 3 point polygons directly upon import of the model. So it doesn’t really matter how you model your stuff  but thanx anyways for pointing that out.

When I saw your models I thought the same as Nemoy: too many n-gons. Maybe Zbrush can handle them, but animating them will surely bring trouble. They are in zones where no pinching is expectec, BUT there are too many, and too close.

Sorry about this little critic (like Nemoy), but I think I am a taliban of 4-side polygons

Yep you’re also right about that, and i’m sorry i haven’t focused on modeling them clean and animatable but when doing 3d doodles while figuring out what else to model then you gotta sacrifice something  besides they seem to load just fine into ZBrush 2. That been tested already. No worries tho about the critics, i’m just happy to hear whatever you have to say
Thanks for your comments Tayete, i appreciate them and i’ll try to improve in the future.

yep, even for detailing purposes i think quads would be better. however thanx for your models
