Frankenstein DAVE School project

This is my school project after two weeks of learning ZBrush at DAVE School. It is a sculpture of Frankenstein. Any input is welcome.

While I think you’re in the right mindset with things, I think there are a few things to consider.

1.) Where is your reference? Even if you’re doing this from the top of your head, you should still have some reference. I say this because it looks like some of your parts and pieces look out of proportion.

2.) Stop worry about the fine detail until you’re sure the proportions are in place. You’re putting pores on his face, while it’s good, make sure they are the right size, shape and place.

3.) Worry about the OTHER fine detail. You have what looks like “staples” or “stitches” holding his face together. While I think it’s a cool way to go about Frankenstein, you should have “entry” wounds around those staples/stitches. In the same vein the skin should tug against them.

It’s a good start. My only other concern would be the eyes. Either remove them and have 2 “eye spheres” as a separate subtool, or rework what you currently have (heck if you have to cheat and keep his eyes closed, go for that.
