I’ve been looking and cant really find what i need , does any one know if i would be able to do this in zbrush or any other program(without it being like 40k) what i want to do is scan an object and “sculpt” on top of it , heres a photo from sensable freeform software , thats something along the lines of what i want to do<a href=“http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v323/wx1585/?action=view¤t=product_software_sensable_freeform1.jpg” target="_blank"><img src=“http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v323/wx1585/product_software_sensable_freeform1.jpg” border=“0” alt=“Photobucket”></a>
Are you using this for medical or dental models such as the first example of the dental prosthesis? Zbrush will do those additions but without the ability to relate the thickness to real world measurements. I have done very similar things using Zbrush in conjunction with other programs. As long as you establish a datum, you can govern your dimensions.
If you can be more specific, I’m sure someone can provide a more suitable answer.
