Formatted computer, can't activate Zbrush

I have a problem… I formatted my computer, and when I enter my serial number to activate Zbrush in pixologic’s site, it gives me the following:

"You have reached the maximum number of activations for this serial number.
This machine was never registered and the number of active licenses has reached the maximum alloted for your purchase agreement.

If you would like make a request to technical support to deactivate an installed license on a different machine, please click on the link below."

It’s the same only machine, same email and same serial, just a new windows … why can’t I activate ???

Sometimes I format my computer… will it always be like that???

Please reply as soon as possible.

Thanks.

A reinstalled OS is seen by the system as being a new computer. In the future, before you reinstall your OS you should deactivate. This is done using the Web Deactivation button found in the Zplugin palette.

Since you are now out of activations, the system has a way to fix things. When you get that message that you’re out there is also a button to list the activations that are currently counting against your serial number. Click that. In the list, locate the activation (or activations) that was lost and check the box next to it. Explain in the reasons that you’ve reformatted your computer and submit the form. This creates a ticket in the Support system with the information that we need to fix your serial number.

Once we’ve done that, you’ll receive an email back letting you know that it has been resolved. You’ll then be able to activate successfully.
