Nevermind, it’s fixed!
Support is fantastic!
Please post the solution, it may help others who are upgrading to Windows 10.
Ok, but with a warning:
Doing this specifically says:
DON’T DO THIS UNLESS SUPPORT TELLS YOU TO.
You might want to talk to support, just a thought, but they are very good and know what they are telling you to do and can get you out of it if something goes wrong. Remember, Im a total ditz, Support is NOT.
Here is what they told me to do:
- Go into the ZBrush 4R7 directory.
- Find and run and run “Pixologic Deactivation Manager.exe”.
- At the bottom of the window that comes up hit “RESET”.
- Run ZBrush.
- Turn on and try to use the Bridge.
- It will tell you you need to give it its registration/serial number which is available here: https://pixologic.com/my-licenses/login.php I recomend copying it.
- Paste that number in and POOF! You are back in business.
- Pour yourself a drink.
I could go on a rant about this but I dont have the energy, suffice to say that I will be switching to Linux, ZBrush and KeyShot are the only things I use that need Windows.
Thanks, that’s good info to have.
