Hi Pilou, I just stopped by to checkout this thread. Many great writers and artists were inspired by these magazines. They were filled with fresh imagination and had a wonderful atmosphere to them. They weren’t tarnished by pre-conceived ideas. I don’t doubt but that they inspired the entire comic book industry. Forrest Ackerman was inspired by them and later produced Famous Monsters Magazine, which then inspired me. Thanks for the link. 50.
