focus view on active object like Maya's [F]?

hi, it’s hard to work when the object jumps out of the screen everytime i rotate it and after i reframe it and see that the rotation is wrong (since the object is out of the screen i can’t get the angle i want with the first attempt) and so, do it all over again
is there a way to focus the camera/view on the active object like with Maya’s [F] (Frame Selection)?
thank you

F and use rmb rotatuon. F will frame the mesh same as Maya and rmb rotation can be done over the mesh and uses the point you click on as the point of rotation.

so it can’t automatically pick the center of the new object as the point of rotation like in Maya then?
that’s how it works with the first object in Zbrush too, is it not possible with the new objects? very weird
many thanks

F once will Frame the object, but your point of rotation will still be the last used position on a mesh. I believe when you frame all the objects it resets the pivot point for camera rotations. So if you’re already framed on the mesh and working, say, on a toe, but you want to rotate around object center again, just hit F 2x quickly and that will frame the object and reset your pivot.
