I’ve written up a few words about one of the things I use Z for : fixing texture errors across UV border seams.
Hope it’ll be of use to some.

oh wow that is sooooo useful for a noobie like me thank you so much for posting that! i havnt even thought of using zbrush like that.
he
Well, I dunno how useful it is for anyone, exactly, since you’d normally just use Bodypaint3d or Deppaint for 3d painting - but hey, if you don’t have those available, Zbrush can also do the job.
Might as well keep your eyes open to useful features
I will review carefully to learn from itand then i will comment or ask some tips if there palce to.
Thanks very much
Andreseloy
ps: i was pushed to read right now and sound very interesting approach, what would be the advantage because in the first and last post i cant compare it¡
thanks very much
Maybe I was explaning it badly. Basically, if I come across a seam in a texture and I want to fix it (I), I could do it manually (and often do) or stick it into a 3d paintprogram to paint directly over it and fix it (II)
All I wanted to show was that Zbrush can be used for this kind of texture fixing across UV boundaries as well (III + IV)
Anyways, as I say. It’s probably not useful for that many people, it’s just one of the things I like about it
