I really liked @leledoesdoodles drawing in Instagram and I wanted to do something in 3d for her 30k DTIYS Challenge.
This time I tried to do a pose that could work from many angles.

I usually try to reuse as much as possible of old meshes, and do fixed to the topology if necessary. This one used a topology from another character that was fairly similar. If I remember correctly, it took me about 4 hours.

Brilliant work!! curious as to how you reuse a topology…could you please brief as to how you manage to match the shapes

Thank you! It really depends, if the character is similar to another character, I use that as a base mesh. You can slide the loops or edit the topology if you need more detail in some areas. GoZ will handle the reprojection If you back and forth from maya to zbrush. But if for some reason fails, you can still project it manually from one sub-tool to another, and preserve the details. I hope this answers your question.
