First zbrush bust

FIrst attempt with zbrush. Started with 4 zspheres and went to town. 3 hours progress so far.

I did “make poly object” so the zspheres are gone. Is there any kind of boolean command so I can add a body after the fact and have it be one mesh? Thanks.

Looks like your off to a good start. As for adding a body after the fact, look into the “Project All” feature. Basically, you’ll make a whole new body mesh with a head, add it as a subtool, select it, store a morph target, subdivide it to a density on par with your original bust, and then press the “Project All” button in your Tool>Geometry pallette. It will transfer the details fron your original mesh to the new mesh. It might not work perfectly, so there’ll be some clean up to do, which is what the stored morph target will help with (along with the morph brush). That’s a pretty brief overview of the process though, so check out some tutorials or other threads here on the forums about the subject as well. Another option may be the ZProject Brush instead of the Project All action. I’ve never actually projected a head mesh onto a new complete body like this, so my suggestions might not be exactly right, but for the most part, what you’re asking is pretty doable. Good luck!

Thanks man, I’ll give that a shot.

good begining:+1: :+1: :+1: really nice …keep posting:)
