I have just uploaded my fist web site.All the directory pages are there but no art as yet.I will be adding my art in the next couple of days.It is not finished yet and I would realy like any thoughts on it(I know it is a little lame but it is my first) Well here is the link

hey syco, I’m glad you found a free web host, but I have to say I didn’t care for the persistent popup ads – I know that’s how they pay their bills, but I think the popups would deter people from exploring your site

your front wallpaper does look nice though

my advice would be to refer people to your Renderosity gallery until you can afford to pay for web hosting – there are many that cost US$8 to 10 per month, and you can get a discount if you pay for a year at a time

very nice so far Carl. I loved the links page also…spent some time over on giger’s pages too :slight_smile: Just add some more of your delicious artwork would be my only thing to really add so far…let us know when you add some more…but you are off to a great start…loved the first page design to enter the site…very nice… :cool: :cool: :cool:

Havran how many pop ups did you get?I am looking into getting a domain name and some web space of my own-should(fingerscrossed)have it all done within the month with NO pop ups(I hate them aswell)
Ron there will be some work up tonight and the rest tomorrow.I only have 20meg so I can’t put to much there-but I will squeeze every last drop of bytes out of it.

Hey one question when you clicked on the face on the front page did it open it’s mouth and frown???It is supposed to but didn’t for me.

I dont think it did…but its eyes were blinking…I will double check but I think that is the way it went…

just went and checked…the eyes act like a hover button and open but that was all…I clicked and it went inside…still kewl though… :slight_smile:

I am not up to date but in the past existing some little prog who close automacticly the Pop-Up publicity.
May you can make some research on the subject :slight_smile:
The ennuyous with your’s banner is the fact they are one the top ! That’s oblige the visitor to use slider for see the down page !
So you must write your text in large lines :slight_smile:
But it’s small in regard to have a free hosting :slight_smile:

Hey Carl, sorry I didn’t look past the popups the other day – your site has a nice clean design, cool mouseovers, and you obviously have a lot of talent and imagination :+1: :slight_smile:

there was an Angelfire pop-under (not too annoying), and some ‘security software’ ad on top – closed that, which activated another one, and then another – I had to activate shields :wink: (Popup Stopper, http://www.panicware.com))
