First Post - Fat Daemon - WIP

Hi all,
I am pretty new to Z-Brush, but I am in love! I’ve been using 3DSMax for about 5 years and although it is great for most 3D work, I haven’t felt like an “artist” until using ZBrush… a million thank you’s to Pixologic and to all the people in the forums here that have posted tutorials and helped me learn how to use this.
I started on this Demon character in an attempt to go all the way from concept to animation for an in game character, he is 3440 tris in the base mesh. I started this almost 2 days ago and have been working in my free time to do this.
I have decided to try to get a job doing something I really love, 3D art and animation. If anyone has any advice, words of encouragement or of realism (ie, you’ll never make it), let me know.

Here is the base mesh

Thanks for looking.

I finished this guy about a week ago and haven’t gotten around to posting any knew images as I’ve been frantically applying for work. The monster, weapons and all come to under 6000 tris

Here is the final Zbrush model
