First ever post

I thought I would put up a work in progress. I have not posted yet, but am
anxious to hear any comments. Keep in mind, just a rough sculpt at this point, but comments welcomed.

Looks like a good start:) Hope your working on it right as we speak;)Almost time to start adding the nitty gritty.

Here is a new doodle I am working on. It is based loosely on a sculpture from Schell Sculpture Studios. It is still rough, needs lots more detailing and texture.

Ok, I wanted to really get into doing something more realistic. I see all the really great creatures and monsters all over the board, but it is more difficult to judge a monster face or an alien because we don’t have a reference for how accurate the anatomy is.
This is a start of an old man sculpt. I am trying to pay attention to structure and how the skin wrinkles, how jowls are formed, etc.

I would appreciate any crits on this piece.

I am playing around with an alien being. I have a modest amount of polypainting and some textures using the alphas.
I would appreciate any crits or comments.

the texturing looks good but would have benifitted from one more lovel of sub-d before applying them. the edges are very rough in some areas where you can tell the poly’s were running low.

otherwise looking good

Here is another sculpt. I love this program!
Still more sculpting to do, especially the ears, needs more wrinkles etc.
I just added a bit of texture using alphas…no polypainting yet.

Crits welcomed

Hey all,
I started this guy last night and did a bit more work this morning. I could use a few crits on this piece before going on.

Thanks

I was watching Seinfeld last night and did the pigman that Kramer saw at the hospital…at least my imagining of what he saw.

A friend of mine from work always refers to somebody when he is aggrevated, as a “ballchinian”…so, with that in mind, and not “Men in Black II”, I have created my version of a “ballchinian”.

With my favorite holiday coming up soon…I am doing this zombie sculpt. Still much more to do, adding the rotted flesh around the bones that are protruding, add lots more detail and then paint this guy.

I hope you enjoy this.zombie test.jpg

I dont think that nose bone is in the correct position…it couldnt be sticking out the top like that unless his nose is more ripped off, right?

correct. I should have waited until I was further along with the sculpting to post a pic, but I wanted to get some input. Yes, I have to do lots more sculpting to this and the nose, lips, ears and thinning out the musculature of the upper chest has to be done, not to mention the eyes are way too clean and unbroken yet too.

Thanks for looking and your comment, though.

Here is a sculpt I did tonight, based loosely off of a video I saw done by Scott Spencer of a demon.demon.jpg
Still lots more sculpting to do, but wanted to get a few comments on the progress of this guy if possible.

Thanks

good job,
but will better if your make it more detail,
maybe more detail in wrinkles.

thank’s:lol:

Hello, fellow Zbrushers…
Tonight, I have a new sculpt to show. It is an alien that I worked on after dinner tonight. It still is a WIP for sure, but wanted to get some comments or crits.

Thanks for lookingAlien_new.jpg

Here is a new alien I worked on today. Not done, but I have a bit of polypainting done to give this one some color.

Thanks for looking

Here is tonight’s new sculpt.
Thanks for looking.

I am working on a demon child sculpt tonight. Kind of a blend between Chucky and any other possessed child from any movie you have ever seen. Just a start, but really liking the way this is shaping up.

Thanks for looking
