Files Will Not Open

Helloo, New to zbrush and running into something that seems strange to me. I am using a mac and I saved my Tool Files onto my desktop. As long as they are in that same location when I click on them they open properly. But if I move them into a new folder, for example, I get this error when trying to open the file:

But if I then rename the folder the file will open properly. Rather strange to me.
Also if i make a duplicate of the file as a backup then the duplicate will not open no matter what. Or at least I haven’t yet discovered the strange task required to get it to open. The “renaming the folder trick” won’t work on the copies.

Does it have something to do with where the file is saved? Do I need to save it somewhere else? How am I to backup my files if the copy won’t open?

Any light shed on this is much appreciated as I feel like I’m relying on a house of cards to keep weeks of work safe.

What method of formatting was used to format the hard drive?

In your first screenshot, it shows that you saved/moved it inside the ZBrush folder in your Applications folder.

You probly don’t want to do that. The Applications folder may have certain permissions set that are causing the problem.
Create a folder in your User/Home folder to save all your projects/files.

Then, instead of trying to open the tool files by clicking or double clicking, after launching ZBrush, use the Load button in ZBrush to load your tools.
