Fibermesh to Nhair/ Maya

hey guys !
So I’m currently modelling this dog for animation on Maya. have poly painted and made the fibermesh get its colour from the poly paint.
since I’m done, I wanna switch it to Maya. I can transfer the polypaint onto my Maya model as well.
my question is, how can I make nhair pick up the polypaint properties? or rather How can I transfer coloured fibermesh to Maya so it stays as is?
