When using fiber mesh, is there a way to break the root attachment so that I can freely move the entire subtool? Sometimes I can merge the fiber mesh with another subtool and this will free it but its not consistent. If I try to move a fiber mesh subtotal now it will pull form the roots while the roots stay stationary.
Just disable ‘fiber auto masking’, and you can easily move it around without any root stretching.
Found under ~ Brush > Auto Masking > Auto Mask Fibermesh ~ Just click it to off
