female character (nudity)

hey everyone, I’m making a female game character for my portfolio and thought I’d post my humble beginnings here :3

Any c&c on the anatomy? I don't want her to be skinny, so bear that in mind :) thanks

Hey, good start. I think you’ve got a decent sense of weight on her, and the proportions feel believable to me.

  • the arms appear to be more muscle-bound than weighty to me, triceps especially, but also biceps and shoulders.
  • hard to say for sure, but the neck seems like it needs some work… certainly the sternomasculoid muscles are pretty pronounced
  • the rib cage, ribs, and abdominal muscles are more likely to be hidden beneath flesh with these proportions, I think. The ‘fold’ near the navel is pretty accurate, but above that muscle and bone forms would be softer.

A small update… I’m currently in the process of retoping her and I’ve hit kind of a snag. What the heck should I do with the long dress? One layer of polys or two layers? This is my first time making a dress like this… any tips?

Btw, this is going to be a real time character, so she (and the dress ^^) will need to move…

from what i’ve learnt ideally clothing should be 2 poly’s thick

why is that? cause of backface cull?

though I’m not quite sure about the hands, maybe you should take another look at them, something feels off ^^
Also, take another look at the shape of the eyes, there’s so much more to it than it would seem :slight_smile: Very nice work on the clothing btw!
