I think she’s looking good. do you have a side profile we can look at?
Tez thanks for the suggestions I have started to incorporate some of them. I am trying for as close a likeness as possible to her not just the female form in general.
Articus thanks. Here is the side profile you asked for.

I think if you pull her face back a little it would look less dislocated. The depth of your facial features are to shallow as well. The head on the right are the adjustments.
Another update on her. I know the likeness of her face is not spot on and may not even be close, but I kind of like the look of her right now. What do you the community think? Thanks for the recommendations Articus, helped me see some flawed areas.

She’s looking good otherwise. Perhaps a little more definition here and there and it will be really great!
updated profile of face.

Been going over the entire sculpt refining areas. Worked on the face a lot. I think she is closer but ill let the community decide. Let me know what you think.

Looing good man. I know this is mainly a study of the female anatomy(which I think you have got down) , have you thought of adding some finer details like toe nails, skin pores etc?
I think that would really bring the model to life

its a good study man, female form is very difficult to model, I’ll suggest finishing this asap and moving to the next one. I think you’ll need lots of anatomy references of skeleton and muscles, stylized drawings of girls, check loomis books(or other drawing books) to figure out the important lines which make the body look better. Good luck!
Thanks Rocky means a lot that you posted here. /idkfa thanks I have put a ton of work into her to get the likeness of the reference I am using. Barnesy I agree that adding the detail would bring her to life but I am trying to get the overall form right before adding such things. Here is another update on her next I will be doing more with the hands and the feet and adding the detail. Let me know what you all think.
[
](javascript:zb_insimg(‘206628’,‘tweaks3.jpg’,1,0))I know this is going to sound painfull and like I take enjoyment from trolling, but you should re-start the model from scratch if you want to capture the rhythm of the lines in this female form, to your credit I recognised what reference your model is based on.
Its a great start, but when I look at your model it feels more like a poly model rahter than a sculptural freehand approach? (I refer to the method).
If you created the basemesh in another app, I would definently suggest using zspheres then sculpting. The difference is you will need to “eyeball” the proportions, which will eventually make your models look more natural, as they will be less reliant on symetrical image planes (ok ok the boobs are asym).
If I’m wrong then, simply Just loosen up
The surface quality is way too highly polished break it up by not using the smooth brush, instead just add and sub.
As I said damn fine start, your next will be awesome!
Morph Division this model is all freehand it has never been laid over an image plane in any program it is completely by eye. The basemesh is a reused mesh I created for a different woman altogether. I guess I don’t know what you mean by too polished? I mean the reference model is not lumpy all over she has very little cellulite or bumpy areas to her body. The symmetry part I get but I am adding the asymmetry as I go as I am happy with an area I modify the opposing side. May be the wrong approach to it but it works for me.
