Female Anatomy Kit

Had a pleasure to work with HoOman Raad as lead artist and Farzin Izadyar as supervisor to create female ecorche.
Sculpted in ZBrush with 172 Sub-tools representing all important inner and superficial muscles.
Hope you like it.
Cheers

Hi Mahdi,

This model is simply beautiful.
Congratulations to you, HoOman Raad and Farzin Izadyar for this !

I am glad to find this post because I have been searching for such a female anatomical model for a moment.

Here is the beginning of the first open source 3D atlas of human anatomy on which we have been working for the last 2 years:

Would you like to join your efforts to ours to improve and complete this model (there is still no female version)?

Besides the adaptation of the male model into a female model, there is a need to improve the anatomical accuracy (I can share all the references needed) and the visual quality of the model (textures, maps and bake UV to import inside Unity).

There is no money involved,

Cordially,

g.

Overall, really nice sculpt. And I appreciate that you have included space filling soft-tissue on some areas.

If you will permit me: one small anatomy crtitique:

Facsia-lata

  • You are showing a diagonal band above the knee. This does not exist as an independent structure in this form, and should be removed. It is a surprisingly common anatomical error in popular or artist-oriented anatomy books, but is absent in medically oriented anatomy books (for good reason). A few years ago I did some research to figure out where this error began, and i found some 19th century anatomy books that included a similar structure to indicate the fascia lata, which is a fascial layer—superficial to the muscles—that covers the whole thigh. the text indicated that this was just a representative portion of a much larger structure, but people started copying the illustrations without understanding what it was showing.
