Fatal projection artefacts

I tried everything, including eye sockets and mouth removal, still nothing. Body has the same problem. I can project low poly on high poly without problems tho, i don’t know how it can help.

There could be a number of things going on here, but without access to the tool in question, I can only offer general advice. Assuming two meshes that are properly similar in the world space:

  1. Here is the prescribed procedure for projecting detail. Be sure to follow the steps for your chosen approach.

  2. Make sure that ONLY the subtools you wish to project detail from are visible. Limiting the projection source to a single mesh may produce better results.

  3. Make sure that the target subtool has enough subdivision to hold the incoming detail. It is difficult to tell, but it looks fairly medium rez in the screenshot.

  4. You may need to increase the “.dist” slider in the Subtool > Projection menu.
