honestly I don’t have confident to post something new here, since I see amazing artist been posting around in zbrushcentral
this is rendition of Kraken made for my Client : fabric Software last summer,
( better late to post than never)
it is intended to be part of their Fabric Engine Kraken creature.

the Creature Sculpted in Zbrush to generate height and Normal map, Masked In zbrush.
textured in Substance Designer, the diffuse ( color ) is 80-90% procedural.

thickness map generated from SD for marmoset SSS
one of the most challenging part is to make it work in animation, all deformation including mouth open and close
( went through couple of iteration after several test )
I wish I have more time to do nice presentation, like pose and put some nice background, but my time is quite packed at the moment,
so for now I can show you the “raw” version of what I gave to them .
