I guess you had rgb on while sculpting on the eye ball. The way to get the eyeball material is to select the eye ball, turn on mrgb, chose the white color in the color palette and click on fill object.

Thanks for quick reply,i did exactly as told but still i get the same problem

well I can see a difference, the eyes have turned completely black. Did you choose white before using the fill color?

yes i did choose and used white .That diference is beacuse in the first pic i used the Material channel with zadd off to paint the eyeball material in the eye. I would like to add that in the preview box you get when you hover your mouse over the material(left colum) and in the same box when you hover your mouse over the eyeballs tool in subtools pallete i get the correct material use, the eyeballs look as they should.I wanted to see if its just a preview issue so i render an image and the eyeballs are there !What might be causing this?

Again thank you in advance

mm well i think it could potentialy be the matcap you are using. try changing it to the toy plastic matcap, white colour, mrbg and colour fill. sometime matcaps can dictacte how the colour comes out when ur painting them. o and for eyes the zb toy plastic will do just fine tbh. hope it helps

Thnx for advice ,i was about to use toy plastic for mat but since the eyball material is working properly in render i ll just go with it.

hi, im having the exact same problem. I know I can simply use a different matcap, but im sure this problem will crop up again further down the line and it seems bizzare. it only affects the cb_eyeball matcaps, but means I cant do a BPR render without the eyes being black. if anyone has a solution for (presumably based on something that is /is not rendered in the “BPR” mode but not the “BEST” mode) it’d be great to hear from you.
