exporting uv maps

Hi all. Im still a noob but i got my first sculpt . Bu t now i want to r render it in keyshot. But how the hell can i save or export my uv.
Thnk you

tool.UVmap

assign UVs procedurally, or use UV master to assign specific UVs.

tool.export.

If you have UV’s assigned to the trool, they will be automaticlly exported with .OBJ file. (Tool>Export)

ok i already polypaint the model. when i got to uv master and hit unwrap it says not enough memory blabla split you model or something like that. what do i have to do? can you please write the steps of polypaint to export?

Edit: when i hit unwrap the second time it says unwrap not performed because the mesh contains closed shells. open them or disable use existingseams.
what do they mean by this?

-go to your lowest subD level.
-then go to the UV panel (tool.uv map)
select a UV method. PUV should work fine.
-now go to tool.texture map.create.new from polypaint.

export out that map. (flip it vertically if it needs it)

Was your first sculpt created using Dynamesh? If so you may have a very dense mesh which wouldn’t work well for UVs due to the sheer amount of data, and so some retopology would be in order.

ay yes i was using dynamesh, i tried doing the uv things that was told. but zbrush crashes.
can i re topo with zbrush? or is that difficult.

It has several options for retopology.

The quickest would probably be to duplicate your sculpt, and use QRemesher. You can then use UV Master on the mesh that it spits out, and then start subdividing and using Tool: Subtool: Project All to transfer the details and polypaint back to it.

thousand times thnks, for all the help!
but sorry for all this its still not working.
select a UV method. PUV and i get this qq.jpg
thats not right, the sculpt is a head bust.
i will try uv master and unwrap it ?

OKee guys thnx for all the help, but i was in a rage cause i could not get it done. because im a noob maby in time.
so i rendered it in zbrush. forgot to save all render passes. for photoshop.
BPR_Render.jpg
i only got the side view now.
but i dont get it when i save the zbrush file, and obj file. and i close zbrush it doesnt save the polypaint.
maby i am doing something wrong again :stuck_out_tongue: when i open the file it isnt there both of them.

changed it a bit with render

let me know what you think any feedback would be a great help

That looks like a PUV-based map to me. If you’re looking for a more optimized UV layout and one that is more recognizable to human eyes, use the UV Master plugin instead of the AUV/PUV/GUV options
