Exporting textured zbrush model to maya, is it possible?

What I mean is by using the projection master to apply the texture and then export that texture and directly apply it to the zbrush object thats been exported to maya for rendering, without the need of uv mapping it in maya.

I have always had a tough time with uv mapping in maya, so I’m looking for a way to skip that step, since texturing a model in the projection master is so easy! Can this work?

Sure. Have you gone through the built in help? Practical Guide? Help movies on ZBrush site under Education? You really should take some time and go through every feature, Zbrush makes it easy as many are scripts for you to watch. Step by step Practical Guide and you could also search the forum for Scott Spencer’s Maya to Zbrush to Maya guide when you get ready to handle more detailed/advanced instructions. :wink:
