After you create the unified or adaptive skin, go to the newly created object if it does not already select it for you and try it there. Don’t try it on the zsphere model you used to make the skin.

Hope this helps :qu:

You don’t export the zsphere, only the resulting mesh that you create based on the outline model. You have a lot of options for generating that mesh, try experimenting after you get the hang of things.

When you skin the model, a new tool appears in the Tool palette. Your ZSphere object remains in Edit mode on the canvas so that you can move spheres around or play with the settings before making additional skins if you wish.

To export your skin, you need to select the skin that you want from the Tool palette and then go to Tool>Inventory>Export.

yes yes, i finally realized that there’s that “skin-something” tool that appears after i skin a zsphere.

thanx people

ps: this zbrush is really something! im a max user and i gotta admit ill never model a character in max ever again, hehehehe…
zbrush is a lifesaver!

Welcome to Zbrush Pim. I use C4d and I know what you mean about prefering Zbrush to other programs for Modeling. It’s a wonderful compliment to either program. Don’t forget to mess around with Texturemaster. It’s almost a missed feature of Zbrush by many 3d people. It’s a great feature. It’s using UV tiling, which works great, although you’ll have to learn a few gymnastic moves to get it to work cleanly in Max…But then again, aurick will point the way…
