Export Image - No Adjustment Options?

I’ve been trying to export a PNG image of my mesh, via the documents tab and “Export”, but in the tutorials I’ve seen once you click save a pop-up is supposed to appear so you can adjust the image you’re exporting, such as resolution. As it is, when I export an image no pop-up appears, and the resulting image is very low resolution. How can I fix this?

The Document>Export button exports the document at the current size as displayed in the Document> Height & Width sliders. The options you describe are only for JPG files, and they don’t give you the option to increase the resolution. What you need to do is use the Document> Width & Height sliders to set the size you want and then press Document>Resize to apply the change. Note that your model will be dropped out of Edit mode so you will need to:

  1. Press Ctrl+N to clear the document.
  2. Click and drag to redraw your model.
  3. Turn on Edit mode. You’ll then be able to reposition how you want.

HTH,
Marcus

Thank you for your help! I made some adjustments and it looks a lot better.
