the high rez is awesome. i kept staring at the bottom half of it for a long time while it was loading and my mind was playing tricks on me. i was just expecting to have something move or jump out at me! i must say that the eyes are my favorite aspect of the whole piece. great job vlad!

Hi Vlad74,

Leo

It´s a pretty job, congratulations friend

I don’t think I “got it” until the high-res version, but on close examination, there’s much to love here.

thank you for the nice comments guys.

to see the things in this image you have to look at the high resolution image.

Aminus - I needed about 2 monts and 10 days to finish this(in my spare time)

thanks

This is absolutely inspirationaly awesome! As much as I love and am inspired by some of the 3D ‘Models’, it’s a refreshing change to see work which is much more ‘2D based’. In my limited experience with ZB, I have come to the conclusion that the 2D/2.5D capabilities are much underused to their full potential (Hope that made sense). Not here though. Here is an image that creates a mood and an ambience far more than a single model ever could (in my opinion anyway). It is work like this that should inspire people to persevere if they ever think of giving up, just as much as the more 3D based stuff. It does just that for me.

And the wait for the High definition version really IS worth it.

Keep on rocking! :+1:

Wow, nice work Vlad. Top Row material IMO. Great style you got there!

Vlad, this is a very enjoyable picture to look at. I imagine you had fun composing it. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the comment guys.

Thank you Darrell. It means a lot to me.

aminus - what do you mean by saying pre-texture views?

basically i mean just the meshes, no color.

I was curious to see how ya put it together. You did such a great job of it and it was worth all that part-time time you took to do it! How many layers? Sorry I am a nosy nut I reckon if you don’t wanna give up your secrets ya don’t have to!:sunglasses:

No problems Aminuts. I have no secrets. I will be happy to descrive every part of the whole process. This scene consists of 15 layers. Later i will post render of all models(without textures) I have used.

This is definitively a masterpiece¡¡¡
I feel the need to see your post every time, i make closeup with the 2.1MB to admire each detail. Each one is a great realization, believe me this is one of the most wonderful scenes i never see¡¡
Each part, leave, tree, eyes,… everything has been made with love and care¡¡
My wife and me enjoy with this Christmas gift, Ofer must be very happy with it.¡¡
Congratulations again
Andreseloy

Wow! After i saw your sneakpeaks of that project i knew that i will come out great. But that definitely exceeded my awaitings!
You really did a great job here, there is nothing i could critcize. I bet it would look amazing as i bigsized print in my livingroom. ^^
You said 15 layers? You must have a highend machine at home  I always have to think about which layers I can merge next to save memory and go on working - and i have 1,3 gig

Im really looking forward to the single models!

Vlad, that is a very UNUSUAL picuture. How did you come up with that idea? :+1: 50.

Vlad74: That is beautiful!
Your thoughtful gesture is most appreciated, thank you very much and all the best to you.
