Just started working on a new project this weekend. This is very early stage work in progress, I am still experimenting with shaders, and lighting within ZBrush. I’ll post more images soon.
It looks outstanding and it still is a wip. Cant wait to see more of this one. Carry on, xlent work.
<<Giantsun>> Thank you, greatly appreciate it your comment ! !
Here is some more work I did on this. I actually went into projection master, then downloaded the ZAppLink script, and painted additional detail in Photoshop for this particular view. I will work on this more, and post latest images. I did color corrections, and added the blur in Photoshop to the flat ZBrush render.
Still messing around with shaders, lighting, etc. within ZB . . another version of a render done in ZB. I did two separate render passes, one without the fog and various setting in the shader, then with fog in ZBrush. The blur and color correction is added in PS. I know it is a bit blue, but on the next render I will probably saturate him a bit more.

try experimenting with the gdi and gsi slots in the light menu…for instance a cool water turbulent water texture in the gdi slot could prove interesting for your water render in zb.
<<aminuts>> did not play with that yet, I am learning something new in Zbrush every day, very impressive software. Thanks, I will try that, really appreciate the tip

Beautiful shark model! I like the depth of field in last pic.
Looking reallyreally good! Congratulations!
I like the first renders the most. The last one is too blue in my opinion.

Really nice shark, I really like this piece.
Thanks everyone for the positive comments ! Spend some more time in projection master mode adding skin detail.
Very cool, it just keeps getting better. Good job
nice. really well done.
like the website too. i’m wondering about your work on The Unknown. i tried following the digitalextreem link with no success. is this still a wip or has it been completed? looks very interesting.
This is Awsome! i love it!
!!
I really like this. May I suggest a different material for the skin? Sharks have skin like fine sandpaper and are only shiny when they are seen out of the water and wet.
Perhaps try something finer and matted?
Also, the eyes on a Great White do not protrude.
Thanks everyone !

Zoetrope>> Thanks for the tip, I need to do a bit more research on the skin , etc. I am not sure, I may go with a stylized sort of look with this shark. Last night I did a test in Maya with fluids, and I may render the highres version with textures in Mental Ray. We’ll see what will be next . . . . thanks again guys.

Hi everyone,
I recently started my own art forum related to 2D and 3D, with tutorials, and guest artists sections. I have been using ZBrush since Siggraph this year, and I am truly amazed with this product, and started using it in production for visual fx for film.
Just wanted to invite everyone here that would like to help grow the ZBrush section over at LabOrganika Forums, share/post your work to inspire many other artists on the Internet, and continue to promote this great product by Pixologic.
LabOrganika forum has been up there only for couple of days, and already has over 70 members. I will also soon announce a ZBrush related Challenge and prizes. I will have detailed information soon in the ZBrush section
I also recently used ZBrush for a film project related to 3D matte paintings, and would love to discuss with others regarding the creation of 3D matte paintings using Zbrush.
Thanks in advance !
