Encountered a strange problem while sculpting

Hi everyone, new to this forum but desperate for an answer…I’m a total noobie and just getting into ZBrush, was working on this very basic head when I found a strange problem within the eyelids. I wanted to give it stylized eyelashes but don’t have Maya so I tried to sculpt it in Zbrush. I can’t seem to shape, delete, or move a very small section in any way. When I try, I either seem to unearth a conical shape, or create a neverending hole. Then I realized this is also the case with the underside of the thickest part of the eyelashes. I’ve turned the temp eyeballs on and off, they seem normal. If, however, I do try to scale the head itself, it seems to amplify the weird shapes that are causing these problems. I’ve attached some images below to try and demonstrate what I mean. I’m using the Zbrush Core free trial and am only using the tools and brushes provided. Any advice is welcome!

The odds are that you have a mask applied. You might not see it if you have ViewMask disabled. Go to Tool > Masking and Clear the mask and you should be OK.

FYI, ZBrushCore has it’s own forum here. You should post your question’s in there.

Thank you so much that fixed it! And noted I’ll move my questions there for now.

No problem! Glad that fixed it for you.
