Eeyore - now with Tigger!

Well, I think I am finally getting the hang of refining my zsphere models. Y’all know Eeyore…he was created with ZSpheres, as were the trees. Honeypots are sweep profile, honey puddles are deformed plane.

BTW, this was done with the low poly adaptive skinning, so it proves you can get good models even with that method.

That is wonderful Brian!!! Perfect storybook presentation (and well suited to be in a book) Now you must do all the other Pooh characters!

Oh no, not my child hood all over again

I used to love Winnee the Pooh (am I spelling that right?).

looks very good Slosh, and yes, I agree, adaptive skinning is the way to go!

I can tell you love Zspheres just as much as the next person (me)

Great work!

Boy, oh boy, does that take me back… His expression just breaks my heart (in a good way!) Very nicely done. :+1: :+1: :+1:

That is perfect, Slosh. The whole pic is priceless. Good going.

Beautiful, and perfecto, Brian!!

:sunglasses: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :sunglasses:

Wow, I think the modeling is just perfect Slosh! Great expression too! :+1:

absolutely gorgeous illustration… and lovely to no end - bravissimo, Brian and a zillion :+1:s

Maybe it is the angle (or my eyes), but it appears on the Zsphere pix that you have flattened the zspheres in the ears and on the tail…(is that what you have done?) I didn’t think they could be shaped other than in size (bigger or smaller). If they can be shaped or flattened as they appear…HOW?

Loqutos

BTW–absolutely excellent model, texture and composition! Bravo!

I saw this first at Renderosity, and I thought it was soooo cute! This is really excellent work. I love this one…

wooooooo hoooooooo looks Great

Wow, this is terrific! Colors, compositons, all first rate!

loqutos, yes the ears and tail were flattened after skinning. Apparently, this is where most of the refinement comes in. I could have used other tools such as the standard sphere to make the ears, then attached them post modeling, but that would probably have not looked as good, since I don’t use the smudge tool very well! I used the low poly adaptive skin, set on 3 for resolution. This gave me a great start for further modeling. I have found that the unified skin, which is super hi-poly, is more difficult to model, since the slightest move has dramatic results. The low poly is smooth enough to look really good, yet still very workable. Give it a try!

Nice result, I think I shall have to try the adaptive skin as I’m having the same problems modelling the unified skin. It’s a bit like trying to model with very wet clay, very sloppy, with clay I let it dry out a bit to get sharp defintion. With Zspheres I obviously have to dry out some polygons. :+1: :+1: :+1:

I couldn’t resist…matching Door Stops

One for the rich man, and one for the rest of us!!!

:+1:

nice choice of subject matter. You did Pooh Bear’s friend justice on all these…I am going to right click him and show him to a four year old I know…she should really love him as much as my own kids will. Great job Bri :+1: :+1: :+1:

Cutissimo! Very well done. :+1:  :+1:

Very GOOOD work with the ZSpheres-you moving along brilliantly—and adorable pictures–very nice work!! :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

My 3 year old came running across the room when this wonderful work popped up on my screen. She approves, so do I. Excellent work.
