Ok, so im a highschool guy about to graduate and I want to get into the 3D arts field using programs like ZBrush, Maya, etc.
Question is, what colleges are the best for this? Is their one for ZBrush in particular or is every artist here self taught?
How did you get into this feild?
I got my start in the New Media program at IUPUI in Indianapolis, where I took a class each in Max and Maya… I struggled with those programs as they seemed extremely cumbersome and technical to me… I caught a glimpse of ZBrush and started experimenting… fell in love… taught myself the program over the next couple years
the 3d instructor at our school is incorporating ZBrush heavily into his curriculum now as well
