Edit-Mode Alterations with Cintiq 21UX - Lines Impossible

Hello

I use the Cintiq with Zbrush2. When I am in edit mode of an object, the edits to detail that I try to make with my Cintiq pen are not smooth lines. If I had a sphere or a cube and I try to sculpt on it, the changes that I make come as “dot dot dot” in a series, not as one smooth line. The alpha is on regular default. I must move very very very slowly to get a line and then it is lumpy not smooth. What is wrong? I can use smooth sometimes (with shift) to help with the lumpy edits a little. But I cannot make fine detail in sharp lines as with wood grain because the line goes “dot dot dot”. What is wrong?

Thank you!

Try and change your “Stroke”. Default is this “dot dot dot” you’re mentioning, if I’m not mistaken…

Edit: Or if you’re “painting” in a very high poly count the performance might not be the best… When you have very high poly count you have to hide a lot of your geometry you’re not working with.

yesss.
either iths your CPU or the Stroke settings but definetly not you graphics card

Hello! When I am in edit mode of an object, “Stroke” selection is unavailable. :frowning:
Also I will try this in a document where the object is very low polygon and the problem remains always, unless I go very, very slow.

Hello! I try setting the Stroke BEFORE selecting to edit, or even making shape, and in this, too, the dot-dot-dot still does happen. :frowning:

Is it Zbrush does work only with the tablet and not with Cintiq?

Oh yes, I must mention that I am sculpting. I am not coloring.

Does no-one understand the problem? :frowning: It prevents me from doing much with ZBrush.
