Hi Claudius, welcome to the forum! Well, I don’t know of an immediate tutorial off of the top of my head. But, I can give you my technique.
I’ll take it that you are using ZBrush to model the ear. If so, then I begin with a zsphere. If you would like to see an example of the zsphere model look here
I have included an image of the skinned zsphere’s ear section here. It is very simple. Use a low density setting so the mesh isn’t too complex. Then switch to EDIT and activate MOVE with a brush size of 1-5 to have as much control over the individual polygons as possible. Make sure you click on QUICK and PF under the Transform pallet. Then push and pull. Don’t worry about how jagged it might look. You just want to get the basic shape of the ear. Once you have what you think looks close then divide the mesh, select the ear area, invert the selection, and use SMOOTH under the TOOL/MODIFIERS/DEFORMATION pallet.
Do this until you are happy. The key to a great ear is using the push and pull method of MOVE instead of the plain Zadd and Zsub.
Hope this helps. And once again, welcome.
Adam

very wonderful earification (and everything else in that wipthread), Nalrac
Thank you Andre and Juandel. I appreciate it. I just want to spread what I learn and do because so many people have helped me to begin learning on this forum. I don’t want to just do it for myself.
Plus, in a pretty major way, ZBrushCentral is huge motivation for me. I normally wouldn’t finish anything. Because I know I will get some feedback from everybody here it pushes me farther. So, thanks be to you all.
That is it, Nalrac. Keep going. Congratulations.Help somebody and somebody help you!
And thanks.
Claudius.
Very beautiful ears!
