Hi guys,
So I need dynomesh only on part of the model that I’m planning to sculpt, the rest can stay as is. Is that possible?
You can hide the part that you don’t want dynameshed but there will probably be a visible seam between the two.
Dynamesh works on the entire subtool if the model is divided into polygroups or if some of it’s hidden and you use dynamesh it will cut the model up into piecies. Not usually what you want, I would start using subdivisions instead. You can subdivide only a part of your model. Dynamesh is good for starting out but subdivisions is what you’ll want to move onto at some point.
