Dynamesh question

I want to dynamesh a head to a body without fusing other parts together like the butt cheeks. Is there a way I can do this? Or perhaps another way to get rid of that dividing line? Thanks for your help.https://www.reddit.com/r/ZBrush/comments/lck8zv/how_to_dynamesh_the_head_and_body_and_get_rid_of/

Hello @Segata

There are some different approaches.

  1. With Dynamesh, increase the resolution slider. Note that if your mesh is significantly smaller than a Tool> Geoemtry> Size> XYZ of 2, Dynamesh may not be able to generate enough resolution even if maxed.

  2. Use Live Boolean. Live Boolean will fuse the meshes only where the topology intersects and no place else. If your meshes reside in separate subtools, the operation can be performed non-destructively–it will create an entirely new mesh and not change the existing meshes. If your meshes reside in the same subtool, you can use the Gizmo Deformer “Remesh by Union” function. This also uses Live Boolean.

Good luck! :slightly_smiling_face:
