Hi, I’m having this problems with Dynamesh, generally I use a combination of buildup brush, smooth, and polish brush. After dynameshing I obtain those results, I don’t know if that’s normal. The first image shows the grid before dynamesh. What would be the best way to avoid this issue?
Cheers!
That is typical of a DynaMesh on an open surface. DynaMesh needs a closed volume to work properly. If you try it on a plane (for example) you will get holes. If the Preferences>Geometry>DynaMesh Close Holes slider is set to zero, or if DynaMesh can’t close the volume for some reason then you will get holes like that.
Thank you marcus_civis, I’ll take that tip in count the next time I make a hole in my mesh small_orange_diamond
