Dynamesh artifacts

Hi!

I’m doing a subtract on my mesh using dynamesh. I’ve allready done several of these subtracts without any problem but for some reason I can’t get a good result with this one.

I’ll post a before and after picture.

I believe that the areas where I get the artifacts should’nt be affected at all by the new dynamesh.
Any body know why this is happening?
Thank you!

There are a lot of things that could be going on with your file. I sometimes get results like that when I dynamesh duplicate overlapping geometry. Your object could be excessively large in the worldspace. I could really only guess.

You can, however, fix it with with a couple applications of the Clip Curv brush. Just flatten out the surface of those sides, and remesh.

Thanks for your reply Spyndel.

Still dont know what caused the problem. Maybe it was to dense, Maybe to many objects or something.
I ended up remodeling the piece and the problem dig not occur the second try.

thanks
