Dynamesh and multiple subtools

Hello guys! I have an object, which consists of ~70 subtools. On most of them I need to sculpt some HS details (trim edges, welding etc) which means I need to dynamesh it. The problem is that the whole object is much bigger than ideal zbrush object size (2x2x2 when my object is more like 20x15x10 or smthing like that). Because of that dynamesh works in a very weird way (gives me more or less polygons) and some brushes are too small or too big.
If I unify the whole scene with scale master plugin, some objects become so tiny, that dynamesh can’t go above 300k polys on them.
The question is: what is the most comfortable way to work with a lot of subtools with dynamesh?
I can export and import each subtool individually, but it’s not very hand y
Thanks!

Take a look at the Pixologic Dynamesh Utility plugin. Can dynamesh multiple subtools. There’s an Autoscale function which might help to get good polycounts on different subtool sizes. Didn’t really need it in my simple test though.

Also, since 2021.6 iirc the Dynamesh Resolution slider has an open circle option meaning that it will take a subtools size into consideration. So the same Dynamesh resolution setting, e.g. 128, will produce different sized polygons on small and large sized subtools when the open circle option is used.

Another option is to combine the Dynamesh open circle option with the ZRepeatIt plugin. ZRepeatIt will let you easily create a macro and repeat it for One/Visible/All subtools. So in your case set Dynamesh to open circle, set resolution, and create and run a macro with ZRepeatIt.
