I just was given an old Dell Inspiron 8000 notebook with 128 MB RAM (I can get it up to 256), a PIII (not sure of MHz, 10MB HD and an ATI Rage Mobility. What are the chances ZBrush 3.1 will run on this machine?
heyas…it will run or should…the biggest slowdown is the matter of the RAM. I too use a PIII…but I have 512 megs of ram. All ya can do is try it 
. I wouldn’t have visions of grandure(sp?) about trying to have a gazillion polys in your model though. I can manage with what I have, a bit over 800, 000 polys before my system says, “No way Jose’!”

Ron is right, the more ram the more you can do, but yeah work with what you have, my old laptop had 512 also, and was with zbrush 2, that was also about the same count before it got fishy. it will be fun to see how it will run =).
not gonna get far with a 10mb hd
