Hi All, hope you can help. Is there a way to create a duplicate a full screen preview of just the modeling window onto another screen/monitor? For example, this can be done with Adobe After Effects by simply pressing "Ctrl+\ ". I basically need to replicate what happens when you record/play a ZMovie in “Doc” mode, but live & on another monitor. I don’t want to see toolbars, menus, drop-downs, etc on that screen. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to do Zscripts so my current ability to experiment through that channel is limited. Is this request possible? Can anyone help with a solution or point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
Hi there,
This isn’t possible.
ZBrush renders everything in real-time as you work, sculpting up to 100 million polygons (or even 1 billion if you use HD sculpting). So if you had a second window that would double what ZBrush is having to do in real-time, making your actual sculpting much less smooth.
On top of that, the ZBrush UI is modal, which means that everything must exist within the ZBrush window itself. It’s not possible to move any UI elements outside that window.

Just goes to show how much I know. I thought it would be as easy as just duplicating the screen similar to having a second monitor. Thanks much Aurick for the insight.
